Do you make boxes to fit our equipment or products or specific needs?
Yes, we make boxes that snugly fit your equipment or products. We can also include dividers for ancillaries, add cushioning or padding for fragile items, incorporate handles, or design boxes that can be lifted with a pallet truck or forklift. Your specific needs will be discussed and worked out during an initial consultation.
What sort of equipment have you made boxes (and custom solutions) for?
We’ve designed and built custom plywood boxes, protective cradles, transport stands, and fixtures for a wide range of high-value and sensitive equipment. In the wind turbine industry, this includes all manner of pitch motors, capacitor banks, IGBT modules, power stacks, slip rings, and supercapacitors.
Can your boxes be exported?
Yes, they can. Our boxes are made from plywood, which is exempt from International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15 (ISPM-15), so they are easily exported. In fact, within the wind turbine industry, our boxes have been exported to the EU many times.
Are the boxes reusable?
Yes, indeed! They are designed to be rugged and tough enough to be reused many times. I came across some boxes we made for a customer a long time ago—they’re still going strong! Since then, we have improved the glues, designs, and fixings, making our boxes even stronger.
Is the box recyclable?
Yes—at the end of its useful life, our plywood boxes can be fully recycled. Plywood is a sustainable wood-based material that is widely accepted in recycling facilities for wood products, helping reduce waste and support circular economy practices.
Are your boxes made from sustainable or FSC-certified materials?
Our plywood is sourced responsibly, and we can provide options using FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council) plywood upon request to meet your sustainability or supply-chain requirements.
Are your boxes durable?
Our boxes are very tough and can withstand knocks. They are structurally strong, made with loose tenon joints and a very strong adhesive (D4 PUR prepolymer). They excel in service maintenance environments, providing reliable protection when equipment is moved from the workshop, in transit to site, and back again.
Can we get our logo or equipment description on the box?
Yes, we can apply your logo, design, or equipment name on the outside of the box. Some customers add serial numbers or equipment types to help with workshop organisation.
What is the process for ordering a custom box?
It starts with an initial consultation (phone, email, or visit) where we discuss your requirements. We then provide a quote, design proposals/drawings if needed, and move to production once approved.
Do you provide design drawings or prototypes?
Yes, we supply digital drawings and, where practical, discuss prototype options to ensure a perfect fit before full production.
How much do your custom boxes cost?
Pricing varies based on size, features (e.g., padding, dividers, lifting points), quantity, and materials. We offer competitive quotes with no hidden fees—contact us with your specs for a no-obligation estimate.
Do you just make boxes?

Our plywood boxes are lighter than metal, more recyclable than many plastics, and biodegradable in natural conditions if not recycled. They offer a lower carbon footprint for many transport applications, especially when reused multiple times.
